What you've all been waiting for.
The Sun Has set on my 2019 guiding season, and it has been a great one. Been pretty much full-on since April. Spring steel, Spey camps, early Chinooks, Bow River trout season and finally Fall Steelhead on the Babine.
Getting out of steelhead camp after nearly 70 days in the bush is like being shot from a reality cannon. The breaking of a stable routine, the traffic, the Currency (and need to use it), and a whole lot of catching up to do. It’s exhausting, but I wouldn't change it. Guide season is taxing on the mind and body.
I'm now starting to look at next years bookings, while I close the books on the last years financials. Keep watching as I hope to be posting more regularly now.
