On the road again.
Its been an interesting May in Calgary. Snow, cold, rain, wind, and even a bit of sun. We saw a bit of everything. It was a great trip out and the Spey camps went over really well. I was really impressed with the depth of understanding my students left with. Now it is time for hours of perfect practice and learning to "SLOW DOWN". I think we could all do a bit of that.
My new camp setup exceeded my expectations and I've got most of the kinks worked out. Looking forward to a busy summer. I didn't get to fish as much as I would have liked and my days were filled with running around, fly tying, visits and other miscellaneous tasks.
Tried to get out of town this AM but my truck is making a mysterious noise. I decided to play it safe and turn it around to have it looked at. Wish me luck.
