It's not writers block.

I ended up tying a sparse little Black Bear Red butt for Atlantic Salmon

Enough folks have asked about the blog that I've decided to put something down. I have some random writings from over the summer but too heavy for my first post in a while. I've got to hand it to people who write regularly on their blog. It takes a ton of discipline. I like taking a break from it now and again. Whenever I say "that'd be a good blog post" more than twice in a day, it's time to take a break. When that happens, it starts to feel like you conduct yourself differently so that you'll have some crap to put on the web. Who am I kidding tho, the reason I haven't been writing is a combination of two things:

Secrecy: I don't need thew masses knowing the why, what, where, who and how of my fishing programs. Loose lips, sink ships and destroy fishing spots, techniques, sections of rivers, total fisheries, cool shit and other cool secret stuff.

Lack of discipline: How does one describe this about themselves? I'll do it with some of my common excuses: Other things took priority, Don't have time, not feeling it, yeah I've got to get back to that, I've got to get off social media it is such a waste of my time. etc. etc.

I do think I need more discipline with Social Media. I sometimes catch myself mindlessly scrolling over the same crap over and over when I could be doing something productive ie: writing this blog.

Life is chugging along. I sent out my Xmas newsletter a few days back. If you arent receiving it, that means you aren’t signed up on the mailing list. You can do this a few ways. Cruise around on the website a bit and there will be a pop-up for you to sign up on the mailing list, or send me a note and I’ll enter your address manually.

I don't think I have tied a fly since August. That's some kind of recent times record for me. That is all going to change tho starting today. I will tie a fly today, and that fly will be for my Brothers Girlfriends Boss for Xmas. In fact, I may even take a picture of that fly and make it the thumbnail for this post. I'm out . . . . . there's work to be done.
