Fly Water Travel update 2022

Last Winter, I was contacted by Ken Morrish, the founder of Fly Water Travel and long-time commercial fly designer. A mutual Freind had sent him my way and he was wondering what I was doing with my Bow River Camps. We had a great chat about the Camp, Flies and design, Steelheading, Guiding etc. We picked a date for him to come and check out the Camp to see if it was something that we were both interested in.

In Early August, I hosted Ken Morrish and Amber Toner in Camp. Amber is a longtime friend who came to take photos for the Flywater travel catalogue. They had some great fishing and saw a good representation of the river getting some great fish on foam, streamers and leeches. I’m happy and proud to they will now be booking some of my two-night/ three-day camp trips.

I look forward to working with them and spending even more time in the Camp. The Bow River Camp program is now up on their website and Ken also published this article on the Flywater Blog.

The work doesn’t stop just because the boats are parked. I still enjoy using camp as my cooking outlet.
