This Skeena steelhead was not a big fish, but it was a stunner, in as good of shape as I’ve ever seen.

35 x 19.5’ and chrome as. We had spotted this one from the boat while floating. My friend Karl insisted we pull over and I fish it first. Thanks Pal, this was a beauty.

A shiny one from the spring
As bright as they get. April steelheading on the Kitimat River. It was interesting we nailed two fish in this spot that day, both beautiful. We never got another fish there again all year. Just goes to show one-day they’re here the next they’re gone.
