On to the next job in Fernie Summer 2018

I think above all the good times he and I have had together, this in his mind may have set me apart from guides worldwide. I kept him in the coors light game when the fuzz was around one day.

Days after we started back onto the Bow post flood in 2013. Visti got this beast of 26’ my second biggest client caught fish of the year that year.

I believe this was our first trip together at the bottom of the “royal banks” on the Bow. Les is one of my most pleasant, calm, and patient clients and she reaps the rewards each trip. We’ve gotten a few dandies over the years but have lost some that were even bigger. Our time is coming hoping for the grande in 2019.

This was meant to be a double header shot. This was the first time I met lucas. They just started dating then. They’re Married now and still love to fish together.

Daryl is owner for “Fins and Feathers Guiding” in Calgary. We’ve had many great days together. He also rows an Adipose flow skiff.

Not many days you can get a 25.5”-23.5”-21.5’ Brown on a foam stonefly. This was the 23.5” and the nicest of all.

I used this extenda-net for awhile till I broke it. its gotta be military grade tough in order to last in my boat

Senor Al was on fire this day. We caught this fish twice in less than a week. Cuttbows are a rainbow Cutthroat hybrid and are not uncommon on the Bow river, this one went 23.5” in the trough.

Told you Al was on fire. Another fine brown trout on the dry just upstream from police. This fish ate the foam fly in 8 inches of water.

This is a 23.5’ Cuttbow that we caught twice in 10 days. Same bank, same spot, same fly. Catch and release really does work.

23.5” just down from Policemans. This was one of the nicest browns of that season.

This little piggy ate a stone nymph hung below a foam stonefly. This was one of the nicest fish that season.

24.5’ and 21.5’ that’s not happening everyday. the Bow River is one of the best rivers in North America.
