The Bittersweet feeling of wet cuffs in the morning.

I’m stoked because we landed that big fish. I’m choked because my wet cuffs will suck the warmth from my body all day long. We landed it in a timely fashion and released it without a hitch but in the moment I had no regard for my arm’s dryness. I will pay throughout the day, but it’s a beautiful fish and I am grateful to have made its acquaintance. Its nice to have one to the boat already.
