This was a saying that my mother used from time to time growing up and I had no idea what I meant, Wikipedia says. One thing that's fun about fishing in a group (especially if you are all friends) is the banter that surrounds the situation. I feel poking fun at each other during recreation is one of our strange ways of showing affection.

I took the above photo a few years back while Dr. Matt was fighting a steelhead. Dr. Kyle, Dennis and Brent have fished together for some years so you can only imagine all the constructive and deconstructive criticisms they may have belted his way during this battle.
