Sparsity

 Tying flies sparsely gives them a sleek, wispy look that is undeniably fishy.  Its hard to dress down your bugs for some reason, I Know I really have to work at it.  You walk a fine line when attempting to dress flies sparse.  Sometimes the line is as simple as one more turn of hackle.  Sparse flies sink better, swim better, cast better and in my eyes. . . just look better.
