foam holder thingy

One of the greatest tools recently added to my arsenal is the Hareline foam holder thingy its real name is “Chicone's Material And Fly Prep Station” and its great for holding all types of tying materials. I really never sit down to tie one or two of something anymore, not just because a tie for work but I think there’s something about the flow of tying a few of something. This helps with that flow by allowing you to get materials ready to go on the hook instead of “put this down, pick this up, cut, stagger, organize, stack, secure to hook and then repeat for each and every step”. Each unit has 24 slots, you just measure, separate, stack, or organize whatever material it is that you are using and snug it down into the recessed slots in the foam holder. This will now keep them secure until you are ready to use them. I think there are some small things you can do to make your life a little easier while tying and this tool is one of them.
